Paint isn’t just paint - at Frenchic we believe in the power of colour, creativity and the huge wellbeing benefits that come from simply picking up a paintbrush. Decorating, painting, crafting and upcycling can be so much more than artistic or DIY endeavours. Each mindful sweep of colour banishes stress and brings calm, focus and a sense of pride. And in the years since Frenchic was first founded in 2014, we have seen that painting truly does bring people together to create a supportive and inclusive community. So, given the nature of their work, Samaritans is a natural partner for us. 10% of every sale from our Samaritans paint collection will go directly to the mental health and suicide prevention charity. Our aim is simple – to raise funds to support Samaritans in their great work, and prove that people, passion, and paint can make a real difference.

And Samaritans is the charity that’s there, for anyone who’s struggling to cope and needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure. Founded in 1953, Samaritans is always there when times are tough and people need them most - day or night, 365 days a year. Its network of dedicated volunteers offer emotional support to anyone struggling with their mental health, approaching each conversation with empathy and compassion to create a safe space for people to express their feelings.
