Neutral Paint
Diverse, versatile and always beautiful – yes, we’re talking about neutral aint. At Frenchic, we stock a wide range of neutral chalk paint, perfect for painting walls, wood, laminate, uPVC and much more.
Choose from our self-sealing Lazy and Al Fresco ranges for furniture, with the latter offering additional weatherproofing qualities. Or opt for a neutral shade from the Original Artisan Range for a traditional chalk paint. Our ultra-matte Chalk Wall Paint allows you to refresh any room with a neutral tone, while the matching shades in our Trim Paint range come with a soft satin finish.
Always unsaturated, neutral chalk paint can be warm or cool and – while it tends to be natural shades – it can also include certain grey-blues and greens or even muddy pinks. Neutral paint can be an enabler that allows the inclusion of brighter, stronger colours. It supports other shades, allowing them to shine. But it can also be the main event for calming, soothing spaces, with the option to layer neutrals.
That said, it doesn’t have to be muted at all. Neutral paint includes black and charcoal shades along with white and off-whites. Neutrals can add drama, depending on how they’re paired, such as contrasting black and white for a monochrome theme.
