Image sharing and permissions on Frenchic’s social media channels
The below terms and conditions apply to any images, video or content that you post, upload or share to Frenchic’s social media pages including but not limited to our Facebook page and the Frenchic Fan Forum. Where possible, we will do our best to credit your image and to advise you in advance but this not always be possible or practicable.
- By replying to social media posts, you grant to Frenchic a non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, irrevocable, sub-licence to use, copy, reproduce, store, modify, alter, adapt, publish, distribute, communicate to the public or otherwise any images posted by you. Frenchic is free to grant sublicences to third parties to use those images as it sees fit, including but not limited to its distributors, stockists, and marketing/promotional suppliers.
- You warrant that the images are your original creation and that no substantial part of the images have been copied from any other work or material; you further warrant that you are the sole creator of, and sole owner of any copyright subsisting in, the images and that you have the right to grant this licence. You also warrant that the images are not subject to any third-party rights, do not contain anything defamatory, indecent or otherwise unlawful, and are not subject to any actions, demands, claims, proceedings, challenges or litigation.
- You waive any moral rights that may subsist in the images concerned.
- The licence shall commence on your posting, reposting, or sharing any images where Frenchic paints and products have been used, and will remain in force until terminated by you by giving notice to Frenchic by email at: marketing@frenchicpaint.co.uk. Within seven days of receipt of such notice of termination, Frenchic shall cease use of the images in question.
- If any provision of this licence (or part of any provision) is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of any other provision of this licence shall not be affected.
