Introducing Kayleigh’s Colour Collections’

Title

Whether I’m painting children’s furniture, doing a KALLAX makeover or creating a quirky upcycle on something I’ve found in the charity shop, the colours I’ve picked for my three collections take centre stage and really reflect my personal style and so many of my favourite shades.

I’ve chosen my Go-To Range with my can’t live without shades (there’s everything from Funky Dora to After Midnight.) Then there’s my Kid’s Furniture Range, a lovely collection of soft, earthy shades that will make any room feel warm and welcoming. Last, but not least, is my Darks Vs Lights starring my new favourite Black Forest, the zesty green of Constance Moss and the delicate pink of Sweetcheeks – it’s the perfect balance of contrasts.

Collection One: My Go-To Range

All of these colours are the Frenchic colours that I just can’ t live without. They are my go-to range and the ones I’ve used most across all of my projects. Especially, Funky Dora, which I used to create my favourite ever project – a KALLAX wardrobe upcycle. Whether it's the earthy calm of Olivia or the bold elegance of Blackjack, these colours help shape the mood and character of every project I take on.

Funky Dora has a fun, playful energy, while Dusky Blush is soft and romantic and After Midnight is a dramatic, deep velvety dark blue. Together, they create a balanced range that I’m obsessed with.

The colours I’ve chosen for my Kids’ Furniture Favourites represent my DIY Mum brand and logo perfectly – and they’re all on my firm favourites list. Each shade—from the soft, earthy tones to the gentle pastels—feels warm, welcoming, and effortlessly stylish.

From Steaming Green to Nougat, these calming colours are perfect for children’s furniture, adding charm without overwhelming a space. Collection three: Dark vs Lights

I’m into my dark colours, especially Black Forest. In fact, I think it’s my new favourite shade. I’m especially drawn to the richness of Black Forest—deep, dramatic, and grounding. I love using greens but also love using gentle pinks like Sweetcheeks and Vintage Rosie.

My Dark vs Light collection is all about contrast and balance and it’s this contrast between bold and delicate that makes the collection so captivating. Together, they create a palette that feels both elegant and playful—perfect for spaces that reflect personality, warmth, and a bit of unexpected beauty.
