Suitable for
Recommended for any furniture or crafting project in need to a bit of bling. Detailing, edges, ledges, handles and more. Great to use with masking tape to create stripes or patterns on larger areas. Interior or exterior use, dependant on medium used.

Coverage
Will depend on the amount mixed into the medium (top coat or wax) and the depth of sheen desired. Each 75g pot will provide coverage for approximately 3m².

Preparation

  • Watch our video on Frenchic TV for a great demo and tips for using Frensheen
  • Ensure the surface to be painted is suitably prepared. Clean, dry and in good condition
  • You can watch our video on how to prepare surfaces for painting here
  • Transfer the required amount of your chosen medium (top coat or wax) to a suitable container
  • Carefully add a spoonful of the Frensheen powder (the product is very lightweight so take care when handling) and mix slowly to form a smooth glaze - adding more as required to reach the consistency of cream - wax will be thicker
  • The more powder you add, the stronger the metallic effect - however, avoid adding so much that the texture of the glaze is gritty. Add more of the medium to correct the consistency if necessary
  • Stir thoroughly and repeatedly during the application phase

Application and drying

  • A brush is recommended for application
  • Drying time will depend on the medium but 60 mins is a rough estimate
  • Add more coats are required
  • Finish with a layer of the top coat or wax you are using as the medium

Clean up and storage

  • Keep the lid on the unmixed powders
  • Mixed glaze can be kept in an airtight container for a few days but will tend to harden over time
  • Always mix thoroughly again before and during use
