Frenchic’s Colour of the Year, Boho Berry, is rich, refined and deeply comforting This deep plum hue carries the elegance of old-world glamour with the warmth of something handmade and heartfelt. It’s a colour that feels both lived-in and luxurious, like velvet upholstery or vintage wine; a berry colour palette has the power to transform a room into something truly special.

 

Whether it’s layered into a bold scheme or used as a colour pop, Boho Berry brings presence. It’s confident without being loud, romantic without being sugary, and timeless without ever feeling flat. It pairs beautifully across a wide spectrum of tones. From sun-warmed terracotta to soft blushes, moody teals, and golden ochres, this is one of the most versatile colours. Even more excitingly, it will now be available in the Al Fresco range.

 

Here I’ve created four striking berry colour palettes, each built around Boho Berry and grounded with a coordinating neutral to help you bring this standout shade into your space. 

Palette 1. Earthy Radiance 

I wanted my Earthy Radiance palette to evoke golden-hour warmth, grounded optimism, and creative comfort. 

 

This palette feels like walking into a kitchen filled with the smell of baked spices and laughter. It’s warm, welcoming, and rooted in natural tones, think sunbaked earth, ripened fruit, and clay-like depth.

 

These colours bring balance between joy and stability. Rubina adds fire and vibrancy, while Peach & Love and Earthy bring in soft rustic accents. Crème Caramel gently lifts the whole scheme, bringing a creamy calm.
