Supporting independent businesses has always been at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to partner with local shops across four continents – Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania.
Unlike large DIY chain stores, our carefully selected stockists are independent retailers who share our passion for quality and creativity. Painting positivity
One of our most impactful blog posts explored a topic close to our hearts – the link between painting and mental health. Painting Positivity: How a Tin of Paint Can Boost Your Mental Health explored the therapeutic benefits of upcycling and furniture painting – from reducing anxiety to fostering a sense of accomplishment and creativity.
In the blog post, we delved into scientific research and heart-warming personal stories from our Frenchic Fan Forum, where countless members have shared how painting has positively impacted their lives. The feedback was inspiring, highlighting the joy of transforming tired furniture into cherished pieces and the mindful, calming process of painting itself.

This article was inspired by our ongoing partnership with Samaritans, as we continue to support their invaluable work through our product-based donation initiative. Frenchic donates 10% of sales of the Frenchic for Samaritans collection to Samaritans so they can continue to be there for anyone struggling to cope.
The Frenchic Fan Forum hits a new milestone!
Our incredible Frenchic Fan Forum has reached an amazing milestone this year, surpassing 640,000 members! This thriving online community continues to be the heart and soul of Frenchic, bringing together passionate painters, upcyclers and home decorators from all walks of life.

A year of colour!
2024 was truly a year of colours at Frenchic, as we celebrated some of our favourite shades and how they transform interiors. From rich, dramatic tones to soft, inviting hues, each colour brought its own unique charm and inspired countless projects.
Plum: bold and luxurious
Plum proved its versatility, adding sophistication and warmth to any space. Whether it’s a dramatic accent wall or a romantic backdrop, this rich mix of purple and red created interiors brimming with individuality. Shades like Plum Pudding (below) and Boho Berry were standout choices, blending beautifully with neutrals, dusky pinks and even earthy yellows for a luxe, cohesive look.
Forest green: grounding and serene
Forest green offered a grounding connection to nature, making it a favourite for creating serene, calming retreats. This deep, evocative shade paired perfectly with mustard, teal and even plum tones for bold, sophisticated combinations. Used on walls, furniture or woodwork, shades like Victory Lane (below), Stirling and Black Forest will add timeless elegance to any room.
Peach: a warm comeback
Peach surprised us all with its resurgence as a trending colour. This blend of pink and orange was ripe for making spaces feel cosy yet fresh. From soft, neutral peach tones like Sweetcheeks to bolder shades like Sundowner, peach made a strong statement, complementing earthy tones, greys and even navy.
